Veteran’s Day Slideshow

We are getting close to our annual Veteran’s Day Program and your kids have been working very hard on their songs to perform.
If your student has a family member that is a Veteran and would like to share their picture for the slideshow, please send a digital copy to
davisk@d93mail.com

Please include the name of the Veteran, the branch of military they serve, and the Woodland Hills student they are related to. Also, please only submit one picture per Veteran to keep the time down.

Pictures need to be submitted by Friday, November 1. Please no late submissions. We will send more details about the program soon.

Thanks!

Mrs. Davis & Mrs. Maddux

Tips for parents:
Recess– Recess is held outside on the playground, even during the winter months.   Parents have the responsibility to assure that students are prepared for the temperatures of an Idaho winter.   On days when the temperature is zero degrees Fahrenheit or lower, students will be allowed to remain indoors during lunch and recess.   Snow, rain, and wind-chill are considered factors and left up the discretion of administration on whether students should remain indoors.   A parent may request that a student who is returning from a verified illness be retained indoors for a maximum of two days.   Commencing the 3rd day, a doctor’s statement must be submitted requesting the student remain indoors.   If not submitted, the student will be required to take outside recess and lunch breaks.
