Here are some important dates coming up this week:

Oct. 7 – 5th Grade Maturation Program Parent Preview at District Offices
7:00- Girls’ Parent Preview
7:30- Boys’ Parent Preview

Oct. 8 – Parent Teacher Conferences 4:00-7:00
Our conferences are open house style. 
Please come anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 pm and meet with the teachers in the gym.
While you are there take a free test-drive and earn money for our school.  See the attached flyer for more information.

Oct. 9 – Jamba Day 
Students (1st-6th) may purchase a Jamba Juice for $2.00 during lunch.
Students must have their money with them at the start of the school day to order.
To avoid distruption of class time we will not be able to accept money in the office for students that forget their money.

Tips for parents:

Medications at School–  Please do not send medications with your student to school.  This includes prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, inhalers, vitamins, cough drops, herbal supplements, etc.  Parents /guardians and physicians or dentists are encouraged to work out a schedule for giving medication outside of school hours. On those rare occasions when it is deemed necessary that medication must be administered during school hours, school personnel may administer the medication in accordance with district policy.  All necessary paperwork must be filled out by the parent and Dr. before medication can be administered at the school or accepted in the office.  Please talk to the school to receive more information on this policy.
