Meet the Woodland Hills PTO Board & Volunteers
We are parents just like you! Our board and volunteers work year-round to support our 700+ students, amazing staff, and entire Woodland Hills community. We'd love to hear from you — don't ever hesitate to reach out!
The President leads all board meetings, oversees every PTO program and event, serves as the primary spokesperson for the PTO, and works directly with school administration. Katie is the heart and engine of everything Woodland Hills PTO does!
Hi! I'm Katie, and I'm excited to serve as the Woodland Hills PTO President. I have four children and have been part of the Woodland Hills Elementary community for 12 years — with another 8 years to go!
"Busy" is probably the easiest way to describe me. I volunteer at three of my children's schools and spend many hours helping with kids and youth programs at my church. I love being involved and finding ways to support the kids, families, and communities around me.
When I'm not volunteering, I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, kayaking, riding bikes, and playing games. In my own quiet time, you can usually find me gardening, reading, or working on a puzzle. I'm excited for another great year with our Woodland Hills families!

Hi! I'm Steven, and I'm excited to serve as the Woodland Hills PTO Vice President. Our family moved to Idaho from Arizona two years ago, and we've really enjoyed making this area our home. Our oldest daughter plays the viola at Bonneville High School, and our youngest is a third grader here at Woodland Hills.
Family is incredibly important to me. I love supporting my wife and our daughters in the things that are important to them, whether that means cheering them on, lending a hand, or simply being there when they need me. Being involved in PTO is another way I can support my family while also giving back to the school and community that have welcomed us.
As Vice President, one of the areas I'll be helping coordinate is our restaurant nights. I'm looking forward to partnering with local restaurants and creating opportunities for Woodland Hills families to come together, enjoy a night out, and support our school at the same time.
When we have a few days to get away, our family loves exploring Idaho and the surrounding areas in our RV with our two daughters and two dogs. We're grateful to call this area home, and I'm excited to do my part to support our students, staff, families, and the Woodland Hills community.

Hi! My name is Hannah, and I'm excited to serve as the Woodland Hills PTO Treasurer. I'm a mom of four and love being involved in our school community. I'm almost always busy volunteering, helping with a project, or jumping in wherever an extra set of hands is needed. There's rarely a dull moment, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
When I'm not working on PTO projects or keeping up with my kids, I enjoy sewing, quilting, camping, and hanging out with my cat. I also run a flower pressing business, which gives me another creative outlet and lets me turn beautiful flowers into something that can be enjoyed for years.
Our family also has chickens, which only adds to the fun and chaos at home! Between four kids, volunteering, creative projects, a business, pets, and PTO, life is definitely never boring. I love being able to use my time and talents to help Woodland Hills and am excited to continue creating great experiences for our students, staff, and families.
Hi! I'm Becca, and I'm excited to serve as the Woodland Hills PTO Marketing Chair. I'm a mom of four, and my youngest is a fifth grader here at Woodland Hills this year. Our family moved to Idaho from California, and Woodland Hills has become an important part of our family's community.
Between working full-time and raising four kids, life stays pretty busy, but I've always enjoyed finding ways to stay involved and give back. I've served with PTO and PTA organizations before and am excited to bring that experience to Woodland Hills. As Marketing Chair, I'll help share PTO news, promote events, and keep our families connected.
I also enjoy reading and hand-sewn quilting, especially English paper piecing. I'm a breast cancer survivor and, more recently, a lung cancer survivor — experiences that have given me an even greater appreciation for family, community, and the moments we get to share together.
I'm looking forward to a great year and helping our Woodland Hills community stay connected and involved!

Hi! Hi! I'm Samantha, and I'm excited to serve as the Woodland Hills PTO Secretary. I'm a mom of two girls and love being involved in our school and community. I enjoy helping bring ideas to life, working behind the scenes, and creating fun and memorable experiences for our students, families, and staff.
As PTO Secretary, I help keep things organized, but you'll also usually find me jumping into events, projects, fundraising, the PTO website, or anywhere else an extra set of hands is needed. I love finding creative solutions and helping turn our PTO's ideas into something we can actually make happen.
Outside of PTO, I work full-time at Lookout Credit Union and am also a full-time student at Idaho State University, where I'm finishing my degree in Information Technology. I'll graduate with my associate degree this spring and plan to earn my bachelor's degree in 2027. I also volunteer with Girl Scouts, so between work, school, volunteering, PTO, and being a mom, there is usually something going on!
Most importantly, I love spending time with my girls and being involved in the communities that are part of their lives. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve Woodland Hills and look forward to another year of supporting our students, staff, and Warrior families!
Kristi runs our Box Tops for Education program and has helped earn hundreds of dollars for our school just by scanning grocery receipts! She is our champion of easy, everyday giving that adds up in a big way for our Warriors. Update with Kristi's real bio!
